oh, max.

i just got home from a trip to seattle, just me, leslie and the little ladies! we had so much fun, but oh did i ever miss my boy. i loved driving him to school this morning and hearing all about his adventures while i was gone. he went horseback riding, ice skating, all kinds of BIG boy things! no girls allowed of course. sometimes i miss all the one on one time with my little man, my first baby love! today he hopped out of the car for preschool and gave me a squeeze and the biggest kiss... he is such a character and he absolutely melts me. it's been challenging lately with so many changes in his life- a new sister, new house, new ward. and he's been a little edgy and not as obedient as we would often like him to be. ;) but i have to remind myself that only 19 months ago, he was an ONLY CHILD! how crazy is that to think about? but i tell you what, i love him like crazy and can't believe he's 5. it's happening so fast! he's   going to be starting speech therapy pretty soon, and this is terrible to say, but there is a small part of me that's going to miss that little lisp and the way he pronounces his L's and R's when he says things like "weeeeeeawy awethome!" sweet boy, you are the love of my life.

  4. I know how you feel about missing the things that are said. Noah used to call himself 'baby eww-a' that is until Chris taught him how to say it correctly. Boy was I mad! We need to get together sometime!
